In the midst of California's record fire season, it's almost impossible to get a quality air filter online or in this one season in stock. Our home, like most older homes in Northern California, does not have air conditioning and has had unhealthy/hazardous air quality for weeks. RevainBasics MERV 11 filters have been a lifesaver for our family. Although not in the oven, it fits perfectly on the back of our 20" box fan. After a week of running the fan with the filter in our house only during the day (no windows open to avoid smoke ingress), it was the difference between the new filter and the used filter is pretty clear.The filter effectively captures most of the fine dust particles in the air and the air quality in our home was pretty good.Although we wouldn't use the box fan method unsupervised and although we definitely prefer the quiet noise and much better filtration of our Levoit air purifiers, the box fan method definitely works in a pinch and these filters do a great job of cleaning air. packed in a box and all filters are not individually wrapped this is a Love/hate thing because it's more eco-friendly, but you need to be careful with storage to make sure before installing/v use stay clean.
