I rarely write reviews but it has been so hard to find the right device that works and does what it promises so I decided to share this information with other buyers. I was looking for a high quality HDMI splitter with CEC support and 4K to 1080p upscaling. I can confirm that both work great! What I tested: 1. Cycle 4k@60 HDR on PS4 Pro (with PSVR box attached, newer one that cycles HDR).2. Play PS4 in 4K and downscale to 1080p to record games on Elgato HD 60s. Please note that HDR cannot be reduced, so you must turn it off. CEC is still fully functional (see below) even though the PS4 is connected through the PSVR!3 box. Playing the same content on two TVs (both 4K, I don't have a 1080p TV to test)4. CEC goes through the HDMI-1 output (didn't check the other outputs but it doesn't matter, in most cases you only need CEC on one input where your main TV is). I tested on LG C9 OLED and PS3, PS4, PS5, NVIDIA Shield, Chromecast with Google TV. CEC worked with all devices: - turn on tv - turn on current device - turn off tv - turn off current device - switch input of tv - turn on device on that input - use remote control to navigate device works - turn on device - turn on tv and correct tv input select (if tv is already on, choose correct input) - turn off device - turn off tv (both didn't work playstation or shield but worked on chromecast, same behavior with this tv without splitter so i think the splitter is it transfers correctly).4. The cryptically named "test mode" allows you to record a PS3 game with the Elgato HD 60 S if you get my meaning ;) (HDCP issue fixed). This was found out by contacting the support team who were very responsive and helpful! I haven't checked if all 4 outputs are active. A few small cons: the LEDs are too bright for me (have to find a way to dim them or hide the box); Sometimes you have to power cycle both the TV and the splitter to get the correct CEC device name (I had issues with duplicate devices being detected by the TV when moving the splitter between different HDMI ports).
