4 stars but added 5th star for Patriot's toolbox software. use buoyancy. Patriot has a very nice downloadable ToolBox that was kind enough to make some Toolbox features work on other non-Patriot drives. = good SSDs, but other options could be better. I installed a 480GB and 1TB version of this, 480 is an OS disk for an older SATA/2 machine, so the PC itself is the limiting factor. Everything about this machine was impeccable, which significantly accelerated its commissioning and use. The 1TB drive was purchased for the operating system and storage of a gaming PC and also worked very well, but was a limiting factor when testing the device. I've since tried it on two other machines as game drives, the first machine didn't do well with it but the second machine liked the ride and had great testing. maybe that was important. Recommended, but the ADATA SU800 and Crucial MX500 work best on all modern SATA/3 machines I've tried. to.
