This sweatpants is very comfortable and warm. The material on the outside is some kind of microfiber, but not the kind that will stick to every callus, which is driving me nuts! It's almost like matte cotton with a very thin elastic band. The inside is lined with Microsherpa, fleece type, very soft and cozy. I can wear them on cold days (inside or outside) and keep them nice and warm. These aren't the prettiest hiking pants, but they don't look unkempt or anything. However, you can see slip lines with them even though they're not tight. I'm a medium size which fits fairly well without being too loose or tight - I'm 5ft 5", medium build with curves and usually wear pants with a 30" inseam that fits my mid to high feet enough. These pants are ankle length for me, but not too short or tight so they don't crawl too much when I'm active. There are hand pockets that my medium-sized phone barely fits in. If you were to walk around with your phone in your pocket, it would most likely fall out. I mainly wear them as cold weather slacks so they serve me well.
