Review on πŸš— AccuGage Dial Tire Pressure Gauge by Christian Young

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No matter: Outdoors

Almost ok. Bought Presta and Schraeder sensors for different bikes. Do not like. I can get the Schrader gauge working, albeit with a little effort each time. I can't get the Presta sensor to work at all. Not the measuring part does not work; it is an armature (head?). Removing the "head" reveals that they only put a short piece of silicon tubing inside, not the correct size o-ring to seal the end of the valve. The hose seems to wobble and is having a hard time making a seal that will hold the pressure (the Presta gauge just won't do it). I've used other sensors successfully for years (which have since worn out), so no matter what the company may say, I really don't think it's me. Surely there are better options than this. hp I also don't like that you have to bleed air through the gauge to relieve excess pressure. Why not add a nub to the back of the head to push the valve core in like gauges have been doing for years?

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
