I bought this grater in 2017. I've been looking for a grater for a long time that has to meet several criteria: • Easy to clean without rubbing your knuckles when washing the inside. Even pages are problematic. • Made of one material, stainless steel. • Robust construction. • Simple design. Took the rubber seal off the bottom and never put it back in. I mainly use it to grate cheddar and parmesan cheese. Works just as well as the day I bought it. Hand wash and dishwasher left a few stains, but that's normal for a tool you use frequently. If they continue to produce them the same way, this is what you need.
