We have had sticky felt pads to protect our wooden chairs from scratching wooden floors for a number of years now and they have been horrible. They were sliding around, picking up hair and dirt like crazy, they were just gross in every way. Removing it was pretty frustrating too, but installing it was a breeze! Just drill a small pilot hole in the bottom of each leg and screw them in! They are made of very strong felt and the plastic felt fitting is deep enough that when the felt wears out the screw will not touch the ground. I'm amazed at how well these little things are made. The chairs now glide beautifully across the floor and the chairs no longer attract all the dirt and hair!
