To get to the floss you just have to find a small cut on the spool, see the floss and gently pull it out to use. It's not like this. I'll have to do major surgery to get the thread! I waste so much thread during this process. It shouldn't be that hard. I'm running towards an emergency sewing kit that I bought very cheaply from a big store because it's so easy to use and didn't exist. Otherwise it's a great set lol. It's the perfect choice, which is why I ordered it. I'll admit I'm returning to sewing after giving up for many years, so I may be missing a new trick to get to the actual beginning of the thread. I'm open to suggestions! xo Pam, still Kelly's mom PS I haven't gotten to spooling yet as I've just hand sewn some masks that didn't have room for a filter and there's no way I can send them to my family member who came without a filter out the door, so I manually put filters in some of them, then cut them out and replace them with a new filter. Now I carefully read whether there is room for a filter in the mask or not! When I get to the coils I'll do another review :)
