We were looking for gloves primarily for indoor cleaning and the occasional outdoor use. Non-rubber work gloves aren't always the best option, especially with cleaning products, chemicals, rain, snow, or any form of wet. Non-rubber works gloves just get soggy and miserable to use. Bare hands aren't a great option either, even with chemically safe for hands or skin contact. Dry and cracked hands are no fun.I especially like that it has the optional liner for the colder outdoor months. It's consistently and currently below freezing in Montana. Don't expect them to replace your dedicated cold weather gloves. They especially won't keep your hands toasty when idle, like cold weather gloves. But the liners will give you some warmth. Better than none. You hands will get cold quicker without. Regardless, with or without your hands will eventually get cold. You may have to switch back and forth during work. I don't expect gloves like these to give you more warmth than is typical of rubber gloves, they aren't designed for that. But glad to see it offers a little something.I have yet to use them during the hotter months. But I expect like any rubber gloves there will be sweat. I expect the liners will help absorb some of that sweat to extend their functional use.I have a hard time with rubber gloves that advertise as fits all or fits most. They don't fit. If they do, they are hard to get on/off or are uncomfortable to use. I have large hands and need large gloves. I ordered the extra-large and can confirm that I was able to get them on/off with significantly less effort than my prior comparables and they were more comfortable to work in. On me, the come up about a third of the way on my forearm. They do have stretch. But are not overly or underly stretchy. They return to their original shape and size. They also have a slight textured knurling pattern on the rubber (reminds me of barbell grip/knurling) for the hand (palm and fingers) that provides extra grip. A nice touch, they added this same knurling around the opening that circles the forearm when worn to make it easier to pull on and take off.The liners are smaller than the gloves as they have to fit inside of them. But they stretch.I was able to get the liner gloves on/off and inserted into and taken out of the neoprene gloves. As expected, it's a little more tricky but that is the case with any double gloving. I would NOT describe it as difficult or challenging.I agree with other reviews, they are thinner than other comparable rubber gloves I've used. But they are not thin like disposable gloves. So far, that hasn't bothered me. In fact the slightly thinner gloves give me a little more tactile feedback and touch sensation. That makes it a little easier to feel what I'm handling and doing (without the liners of course). Trade-offs I suppose. For use around the home, I don't foresee an issue and we haven't had one yet. Not certain they are designed to last forever, that goes for any gloves like these. If so, I have two additional pairs. I expect to eventually replace them but they should last for a while. Not sure about their longevity or how they will hold up for industrial, heavy, or more demanding use.Know what and why you are purchasing these compared to other gloves. They each have their designed and intended purposes.I did a little research so you don't have to:+ Neoprene is waterproof and latex-free.+ Neoprene excels in flexibility, finger dexterity, weather resistance, and heat/flame resistant (-70 to 280°F)+ Neoprene resists degradation better than natural rubber (they will last longer).+ Neoprene is chemically resistant/inert. Moderate protection to oils, fats, greases, and petroleum-based mixtures. Protection to mild acids, caustics, and most solvents.+ Neoprene has excellent impact resistance.+/- Good at resisting germs but Nitrile is preferred due to its superior tear and cut resistance providing a superior physical barrier.- Neoprene is physically less resistant to snags, punctures, abrasions, and cuts than nitrile or natural rubber.- Neoprene is not as resistant to petroleum-based products as nitrile gloves.Use case scenarios: Industrial chemical processing, printing industries, oil refineries, automotive paint shop, pesticides handling, agriculture, environmental waste clean up, general maintenance.
