I tried 2 of these. The spring loaded metal caps (the 3 you see on the bottom left of the case) are not strong enough to seal the inner rings of the heatsink or your own adapter above about 10psi. This means that if you try to pressurize the cooling system or use the cap adapter, you cannot exceed 10psi before the cap itself will leak. (Yes, I wet them). It also means you can't test most radiator caps that are supposed to open above 16psi. Also, since the quick disconnect is part of the back of this seal, a slight sideways force on the fitting through the hose when venting will result in further leakage.
