Review on Enhance Cabinet Lighting with Durolux LWL7W40 F13T5 Retrofit: Direct Upgrade Solution by Richard Gonzales

I have to admit I was skeptical about the claims made about this product. When I received the package I immediately installed one of these and it caught fire for about a second and then stopped working. I tried another phone and it worked great. Then I tried the first tube again and it worked wonderfully. Then I tried others and they all worked the same. These bulbs are at least as bright as the fluorescent bulbs they replace, and the color of the light is whiter. As mentioned by others, the tubes only light up from one side, which is fine for use under kitchen cabinets, but not for some other applications. The best part was that I didn't have to remove the ballast from my fixture; it really is plug and play. Can't say anything about durability yet, but hopefully.
