This is the second dog flap I've bought in the last few years. The first time I bought it to replace a cheaply made door that didn't last long and was cheaply made. The only thing I didn't like about this door when I first bought it was that it came with plastic screws which didn't last long with so much use. They seem to have improved this by replacing it with strong metal screws. Overall, the door is perfect for my dogs. I have two 55 lb terriers and a 110 lb Mastiff Pitbull that use it quite often and it's the perfect size for them. There are times when the dogs are really hyper and chasing each other that they run out the door at full speed with no problem (although I've learned not to stand in front of it as their speed almost broke my leg before when they can't see I'm standing there). Although I rarely cover it with a lid to close it when I need it, it's quite resistant to the Mastiff mix and he can't open it, unlike my previous door.
