Review on Whistling Tea Kettle Teapot Heat Insulating by Troy Drake

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good with the kettles

I am writing this review the day after receiving the kettle so it can be updated in the future if needed. The first thing that struck me was the size. Thing is HUGE! Most teapots are tiny, but this thing can hold enough water to supply all of China (or at least London) with tea! The kettle is well made. The handle swings to the side for easy filling. The spout opens easily for pouring. I can't verify all the layers in the base, but it seems to heat up a lot quicker than our previous kettle. I want to talk about heat resistance very quickly. The handle and spout got REALLY hot, but I didn't need an oven mitt to pick it up, open the spout, or pour it. I made our old teapot with a plastic handle. Again, this is an early review and may be edited in the future, but I was VERY impressed at first!
