I love this helmet, just got back from a 200 mile trip in the mountains and decided to reconsider this purchase while it was still fresh in my mind. This is my first modular helmet that I own, so my rating is based solely on that experience. I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. I knew I needed a modular helmet, I've always been a fan of half helmets or no helmet at all, but with further travel, living closer to town and rolling in hilly terrain, I wanted more protection as well as Bluetooth for GPS purposes. I will definitely buy another helmet for my wife and kids when we ride together! Size - I wear a fitted cap 7 1/4, head size 22 3/4 inches. Based on the helmet size recommendations provided online I should have gone for the large but after reading other reviews I chose the XL and I'm glad I did. The helmet fits perfectly, not so snug that I'm uncomfortable but snug enough to make me feel secure. The top part of the helmet doesn't have much padding and you can feel the look and feel of it. - I chose matte black, looks great, no scratches. The bluetooth and sunshade switch is easy to find with gloves on and moves smoothly. The ventilation tabs are a little harder to find with gloves on and I didn't notice any difference in circulation with the helmet closed or open (it can get hot in a helmet in the summer). The quick release works great and the helmet is easy to open. Visors - both visors were provided with a protective cover and were without stains, without scratches. The flip-up umbrellas aren't very dark and will fog up if you pant up, but that's to be expected. The fog dissipated very quickly, lifting the outer curtain down a notch. My sun visor slides down easily and goes all the way back into the helmet when I don't need it anymore. Bluetooth. As other reviews have mentioned, the speakers don't have a lot of bass, but in terms of clarity and volume, I found I had no trouble listening to music or GPS at 75 mph, and didn't have full volume. My wife called me to try out the microphone. I understood her perfectly, but she said that my voice was muffled, but she said that she hears me and understands everything I say. (the speed is only 35 km / h, I did not test it faster) Weight - there are no complaints about the weight, it did not distract when driving. It's heavier than I'm used to, but overall I was expecting the expected weight with a full face/modular helmet. Noise - I was really impressed with the amount of wind noise. I couldn't believe how quiet this helmet was at 75mph today. No problem looking in any direction or up and down, it was quiet. Of course, I was used to not covering anything with my ears when riding, so I couldn't believe the calm I experienced during today's ride. Cons: The two outer grommets that attach the windshield to your helmet under the chin don't stay attached. If you pull down on the modular jaw, you will need to reinsert these two tabs. Not a big problem, but I have to deal with that every time I wear this helmet. The charging connection for the Bluetooth battery cover is very wobbly, the rubber stopper that opened it came loose at first glance. To attempt.
