It's hard to find a stand that does 'everything' right. I don't like adjustable metal stands. And no glass coasters. i like wood They are "made of wood" and serve as a good stand for your speaker. Others have raised concerns about the size of their speakers. My monitors are 11 x 7 x 8 inches and weigh 14 pounds. My speakers fit this stand perfectly. Some have mentioned using Blu Tak to connect their speakers. I didn't trust this as I have 4 bully dogs hitting everything around me lol. I used Scotch Extreme - 414P double sided mounting tape. Before I could use the tape I had to countersink the screws (they are raised) holding the top deck to the stand. It was easy enough. But WARNING - do not use the drill at high speed as you will quickly drill the top platform of the hole. I was careful and did it anyway on my first hole, I had to move the screw hole. I changed the bit to a paddle bit and set the drill on a low, easy setting. I replaced the screws and then taped the top rack with 4 pieces of tape. It was a little difficult to center the speaker on the stand. I tried aiming it in different ways but as soon as I started moving I lost vision of the podium and idea of where I am lol. Finally and correctly I turned the speaker upside down along with the stand and placed the top of the stand on top of the speaker in the middle. I pressed down for a few minutes and carefully lifted the stand with the speaker attached. He didn't move. The tape should stick better over time. I can only imagine.Size. These racks are 31 inches high. It's hard to find racks that are much taller. I saw above but they were usually metal or glass. generally standard size. I cut off a speaker halfway behind the back of the sofa. To fix this I made a stand. I made this for both so they were the same height. cheap, and because I ended up wasn't sure where my speakers would be placed. Now that I have my setup set up, I want to replace these stands. I will build my own stands and recycle the stand stands but follow this general design that I like. Don't leave a gap in front, but they will be triangular. These coasters will do the trick, but it's nicer there. I would consider them a budget item. Hence 4 stars because they are exactly what they say, no false claims.
