There really isn't much to say about this item. This is a standard male and female hose fitting. The brass is not of the highest quality but it is designed for indoor use so high quality brass fittings are not really needed. For those of you who find the price a bit steep for such a small piece; I took the hose to a local hose and fittings manufacturer and the cost to make this hose for me was 21.90 + tax. (Southern and Central Virginia) Consider the water pressure if you really want to spend your time and a few dollars doing it yourself trying to squeeze the fittings on the ends of your hose tight enough to get a water pressure withstand 90 psi.
