Review on πŸš€ K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Rev Up your 1998-2003 CHEVROLET/GMC (S10 Pickup, Sonoma) with High Performance: Gain Horsepower & Stay Road Legal (57-3025-1) by Michael Syph

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You will be satisfied.

Like all my Revain products, I received this very quickly and in perfect condition. The service is always 5 out of 5 stars. Upgrading the air intake on any vehicle is an option that many people never consider, but for those looking for better performance, reliability, and cost benefits, this is a great first step toward those goals. .When choosing aftermarket air intakes, particularly for my Chevy S10, there were several manufacturers to choose from. I chose K&N over AEM, AIRAID, Volant, and Specter to meet stringent California emissions standards because of price, washable filters, looks, and the power-up claims of other customers and competing aftermarket vendors. While I'm by no means a pro under the hood of my cars, removing my stock S10 air intake was easy and well documented with step-by-step photos with captions. Installing the K&N air intake and heat shield was even easier. There is a noticeable difference in the sound of the warehouse slip and the K&N consumption. The K&N has a louder, raspier sound at high rpm and is silky smooth and quiet at idle and lower rpm. I recommend and encourage anyone considering an air intake upgrade to use K&N on all of their vehicles. In general I am very happy. with my purchase and installation.

Pros
  • ENHANCED ENGINE SOUND: Hear the power under the hood.
Cons
  • Almost never
