Looks better than the one I had from Lizard Skins which was linen-like material, difficult to clean, shorter and prone to fading. It has a smoother surface that is easier to wash. The velcro on this one is tailored so it can be used on a variety of chainstay sizes. Lizard Skins require you to order your specific size which is difficult to guess when ordering online unlike when buying from LBS. I have mine on a 2013 Giant Escape 3 Hybrid if that helps anyone. It's perfect for a "regular" road/hybrid frame. I can't say anything about the fit of the MTB. It looks good on my bike and I expect it will stay that way for a while. A Lizard Skin lasted about a year, I expect this one to last at least twice as long.
