An ECCPP store will not respect or support 1 faulty sensor in a purchased kit.

** Take Precautions Before Buying ECCPP Oxygen Sensors From ECCPP! ** I ordered them because they were sold as a complete kit that I needed specifically for my car. Although I only had 1 faulty sensor, I replaced all 4 as recommended by the manufacturer (because replacing just 1 of a new sensor mixed with an old one in the same jar can result in inaccurate readings). I ordered the kit on February 2nd, 2021 Order came 9 days later, February 11th, 2021. As the date I had planned/saved for the installation has passed I didn't have another chance until February 22nd. After installing and resetting the code, everything seemed to work fine after installation. 3 weeks later my check engine light came on. The OBDII code indicated it was a Ho2S1 Htr (Bank 2). (Note: This wasn't even the same faulty sensor as the original faulty sensor, NOR the same problem that caused the original sensor to fail - this fault was related to the faulty heater element used at startup and NOT a sensor reading error .) So I checked the wiring and even checked the problem with another sensor check of the same year/model and it confirmed that the new part had failed. So I contacted the seller, explained this and offered to return the part and ask for a replacement. The seller stated that a return was not required and instead asked me to document the problem with the defective sensor and they would take care of it. So I did. I took a photo of the obd2 report which included the car's date and VIN (which matched the car the part was intended for) and explained how I confirmed it was the correct sensor. ECCPP responded by offering me a $19 refund for that sensor. Well what I needed was a faulty sensor that failed! I've swapped them out in pairs/as a set as needed. And knew they were new enough to replace. So having purchased the ECCPP sensors from Revain's ECCPP shop I immediately went back to their offerings expecting to be able to order this one faulty sensor for the offering. nope! My kit was still available but there was NO specific one that could replace the broken one! And the other separate ones they had for other vehicles were MUCH more expensive individually! So I replied to the above answer that I need a replacement for the faulty one! That's why I bought the set! This is the store of the brand I bought! I can't use another brand/manufacturer that doesn't match the set!? I didn't want to replace the new ones that worked with another brand of kit!? I stated that I bought the ECCPP sensors from the ECCP shop! I need a replacement! I understand very well that an extra part can be a defect of any brand! But $19 would do NOTHING to fix the problem caused by the defect. And if they price this faulty sensor at $19 and they are the business that owns and sells the sensor I need, why can't they ship the sensor to me? I said again I would be more than willing to return the defective one which they could see was brand new, looked undamaged and they could confirm it was defective! Your Answer? NO, they did not want to replace this new faulty sensor as a kit and did not want to stand for or replace their own sensor even though they did and were a direct seller of the brand of sensor that I had purchased and required! It was like this! They told me to contact Revain and ask them to replace it! I explained that I would be compelled to document this in a review, not in any way out of malice, but to let others know (which I myself would like to be warned about before buying) that this seller will not stand behind their sensors or eliminate a simple problem ! And also . I never heard from them again! I strongly encourage you to think about it. A more expensive brand/set of sensors, or especially a retailer, will probably be well invested in dollars if in any case a case requiring ECCPP to stand behind their sensors arises.
