Great so far! - Shocks, Struts & Suspension

My wife and I installed them on our 2004 LeSabre this weekend and they changed the world. I know the airride is long gone, but lately the car has gotten significantly worse (maybe it's something to do with the curb) and has been rocking all the time. My wife started throwing up while driving so I started looking for parts. I had a hard time deciding whether to switch to regular shocks or go back to air shocks, but price influenced my decisionโ€”$65 for a pair of shocks is hard to beat. Got them installed and they work great - no problems installing and they came with basic mounting hardware. The OEM hardware (large washers and top lock/deformed top nut) was better than what came with these shocks (the nut didn't look like a locknut) so I just kept all the OEM hardware. Maybe I didn't realize they came with hardware until I was halfway through. The only difficulty was preventing the dampers from stretching too much when the car was jacked up. It would probably be a good idea to rent a spring compressor as the rear of the car is too light to keep the shock absorber from stretching. I intend to update as they wear out.
