Review on πŸ”Œ USB C to Mini USB 2.0 Adapter (2-Pack) - Charge, Sync & Connect GoPro, MP3 Players, Dash Cam, GPS Receiver & More by Jim Booth

Great if you want to avoid using old mini USB cables.

First of all, who developed the validation criteria for this product? Transparency? Thickness? Adhesion? OK, so maybe the last output suggests the connectors are tight, but that's a two-part problem that can't be adequately addressed with just one end of the connection. Real Review: I didn't want to use my old mini-USB cables that are ten+ years old, and all my new stuff (like PCs) use USB-C, so what's not to like here? The mini-USB format had the shortest lifespan of any USB option, but if you have stuff with this interface that you still use, it's great to have on hand. As far as I can tell the design is good and it worked great on one of my old Arduino boards which is my main reason for buying it. I also recently got a Chinese pulse oximeter (PO) that uses mini-USB and connects to my smartphone via USB-C, so I don't have to use the included messy cable that just plugs into a regular USB-A plug , which needs another adapter to connect me to my phone. But it was cheap - PO, that is.
