I bought this because I wanted something to wear on my head for meetings when I'm working from home. I needed something that wasn't a stocking cap or a sports cap, so this fitted the bill. I thought purple would be a fun color but now I know it's a replica of Meg Griffin's hat. Ha! Nobody bothered me about it, but I wanted to warn you. :) You can wear it outside on cold days but I don't expect it to keep you warm on very cold days. I wear it mostly at home to cover my messy hair and it also keeps me warm when it's a little chilly in the house.
