I'm naturally blonde and yes I'm black. we exist As with any childish blonde, the color darkens with age. Luckily mine lasted forever until I had to dye it about 3-4 times a year. The color goes amazingly well with my hair and sometimes all it takes is a really good color shampoo and conditioner to keep it going. However, the opposite is also true and it's so hard to get rid of a color that I no longer need. I dyed my hair red and brunette for years to mix things up and I had trouble getting rid of the horrible orange that was left. The purple shampoos seemed to make it more coppery and I was disappointed so I bought this one. Actually it works very well. I really notice a difference after my hair is completely dry and it's been a few days since I washed it. This is the closest to my natural hair color so I love it. It gets everywhere, but just rinse it out of the shower when you're done.
