Review on ⚡ Schumacher BAF-C50 High-Amp Clamps for Efficient Battery Charging and Testing by Hector Watkins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Solder was also used - beware of the clearance

Not only did I crimp the lugs on a handle, I also soldered copper wire to it. I had a 12 gauge wire that worked very well. Crimping problems may occur with 16 or 18 gauge. There is no large oval gap in the front teeth of the clamp. This can make it difficult to secure electronic wires and connectors. Clips can be too big for small electrical connectors. I used them to clamp a high power (50W) 3.3k ohm pull down resistor on one side and a screwdriver on the other side to the microwave body. Then I used a screwdriver on the capacitor terminals.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Cleanliness
