It has 3 prongs on the bottom to allow it to be secured to the ground and a large main stake in the centre. The frame is divided into 3 sections that need to be attached with screws. When the wind blows, the wheel is very quiet. It's not my requirement but it was nice. The only issue I have with this item is that the main head (the part that holds the spinners and connects to the actual insert) is articulated. You can't screw it in, so it doesn't move. Essentially, the spinner can move from your face to you to look away. Other than that, this article is great.
