I have used projectors before and have never been very happy with them but my wife insisted on trying one to avoid the disappointment of paying for a bad movie at the cinema. I was incredibly surprised at the quality of this product and really enjoyed my last few movie nights with my family and friends. We are so glad we started planning a movie night with the extended family. I've always thought about turning a wall into a giant TV, but never thought I'd be able to do it. I chose this projector for its higher ANSI brightness in lumens and lux. My living room can get quite a bit of light through the windows, so I wanted to make sure there wasn't any ambient light that would render the unit unusable outside of the late night hours. I don't currently have a canvas so I took some illustrations hung with command strips and projected them onto the wall. Although the wall is cream colored and the command bars are left open, the image quality and brightness are high enough for these issues to go unnoticed. In the images shown, the projector was shooting from about 14 feet from the wall. Aside from a great picture, it was very easy to set up. The only things aside from hooking up a media source might be focus adjustment, which can be done via the remote or main menu, and keystone adjustment with the knob on the back. It's also worth noting that the overall heat generated by this product is pretty low. It is only slightly warm to the touch after a few hours of use and cools down quickly when switched off. I was happy to see that it also had a removable filter for easy cleaning. The ability to stream from your phone is handy, and the ability to connect Bluetooth speakers is a huge plus. The sound on this device isn't bad, but the Bluetooth surround sound system will greatly enhance your experience. I connected my computer speakers to the 3.5mm audio jack on the back for a slight boost in sound. This unit comes with a small remote control (no batteries), an AV adapter for old red, yellow and white video cables of the past, and a power cord. The power cord is 5ft long and I wish it was a little longer as it has to be carried up high but that can easily be remedied. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and can only recommend it!
