The XS is a pleasure to carry, but its diminutive size and high-quality construction are its greatest selling points for me. The biggest drawback, however, was a complete surprise: in the XS model, there is no "Enlarge display" function in the device's settings. Because of this, using an XS is extremely uncomfortable because the screen size is comparable to that of a 7+, making the text in the application interfaces appear too small and requiring you to strain your eyes. There is an option in the settings to increase the "Text Size," and Apple's native applications have a nice appearance, but other apps look terrible. I usually use two phones, one for iOS and the other for Android. However, there was a time when the iPhone 7+, Samsung S7 Edge, and iPhone XS were all equally good in my book. I ended up switching to the XS as my primary phone and picking the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro as my secondary phone because it was cheaper, despite my high hopes that the XS would be the better of the two. As a result of the unjustifiable substantial price differential compared to other Android competitors, I am unable to endorse the purchase of the XS. Although iOS is still superior in terms of aesthetics and ergonomics, the gap is starting to close, and the experience of using it is becoming increasingly homogenous.
