Great Price Durable Band

I bought this for my Garmin Insight Solar tactical watch. My skin doesn't like silicone bands so I bought them as a replacement. My first impressions are pretty good. The bracelet seems to complement the watch well. This is a lightweight harness that's easy to set up with the included hardware. It appears to be titanium judging by the weight and the fact that it doesn't turn off my watch's compass. I'm taking off a star because I'm not entirely sure about the durability of the color. It held up well as I adjusted the band with the pen tool. There are no scratches, but if you take it apart you can see bare metal between the links. It's invisible when the group is together, so it's not a huge aesthetic issue, but it does suggest the metal is actually painted and not plated. Let's see how well it holds up. I plan to replace the strap with a nylon strap for serious outdoor work like long hikes or search and rescue. I intend to only use this strap for everyday office wear or for short hikes, steady runs or runs. I don't want to risk my $450 watch with a $50 Amazon bracelet while I'm in a remote area. I also wouldn't want to wear a metal band for HIIT, sprints, or other intense workouts, but that's okay. Heart rate monitors on all smartwatches suck when you're moving fast. So for intense workouts I will continue to use a chest strap. I'm not complaining that it's $250 cheaper than a Garmin brand titanium bracelet. I might change this every year for the next 4-5 years if I own the watch and still come out on top.
