I am upgrading the ignition in my '95 Toyota pickup and need a better quality spark plug wire to handle the higher spark. The problem was that some special wire connectors with clips in the cover of the distributor are used. I couldn't find a larger harness for less than $180 that would fit this car. However, these wires are designed in such a way that they do not need to be larger in diameter to withstand a higher spark. They are of excellent quality and so far have worked flawlessly with my upgraded ignition system. I would definitely recommend this harness, NGK make some good quality parts for imported cars. Note to Toyota owners: I later found out on the forums that the distributor cap for a '95 pickup can be replaced with an older cap and rotor (85) and still work. If you really need heavier gauge wires with more insulation, wire sets to match these distributor caps are readily available. Warning, although I haven't tried this yet so can't say for sure, but it's an option you can check out. Since I've already bought them and they work great, I'll use them as long as they last. I have an old cap and rotor so maybe I'll give it a try, if I do I'll update my review here.
