It works well, the reading is big enough to be seen. The pan clamp is not big enough for the length of the handle, making it heavy at the top and tending to tip to one side when using it on a smaller pan. I had reading issues when I first got it and then found the battery wasn't making proper contact, adjusted the contacts and now the reading is full screen. The timeout function is a bit tight, sometimes you have to press the start button while cooking to continue reading. Knowing all of this, I would buy it again.
