Superb general purpose carbon steel chef's knife 420

This knife does a great job of chopping vegetables, beef and chicken. It is made from high carbon 420 stainless steel to hold the cutting edge. It has a serrated edge, making it good for slicing bagels and bread. It's not a $300 chef's knife, but it's good for preparing and slicing sandwiches or salad ingredients. Remember to use a push or pull motion when cutting, and have another non-serrated knife handy. Excellent value for money so you can easily afford a good paring knife to complement this chef's knife.
