Be careful! Beautiful but very fragile!

Beautiful teacup. Right out of the box I couldn't be happier. However, upon removing the mug and lid from the box, the lid slipped off the mug and shattered on the floor. I have a feeling there is a bad design flaw. There should be some sort of grippy or non-slip surface on the underside of the lid to keep it from slipping off the teacup or infuser. Otherwise I like it very much. I was going to give my daughter a birthday present but I'll look for something else as it breaks so easily.

Pros

Lid and Handle. The charming ceramic lid keeps tea or coffee warm and serves as a holder for the tea strainer. The large, curved, insulated handle is comfortable to hold
