It's been a few months since I bought this. I carefully researched all existing humidifiers because I needed to replace my old broken one before winter came. The one that kept popping up was from TaoTronics. This LEVOIT humidifier (and LEVIOT in general) has only received a handful of reviews, while TaoTronics has hundreds. The reason I chose LEVIOT was because of its sleek design. Humidifiers look so clunky and their water tanks are unnecessarily large, which can make cleaning a hassle. I can say without a doubt that this is the best ultrasonic humidifier I have ever had. I love its durability, ease of use (only has three settings, which is really all you need), and I lightly clean it every morning before going to work (empty tank and tank and wipe with a microfiber cloth). This machine makes it so easy. Oh, and it looks amazing no matter where you put it. It's incredibly smooth, but even my large hands can fit in the tank to wipe off the water and prevent bacteria build-up. Note. No matter which humidifier you buy, it needs to be cleaned regularly. I highly recommend this product and this company.
