Review on πŸ“ž Baofeng UV-9R Plus Black: Superior Walkie Talkie with Extended Range and Enhanced Features by Chang Jeon ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little bit not what I expected, generally fine.

The device is quite worthy for its money, even taking into account the rise in price. There are a couple of little things, but I do not think that they will greatly damage the functionality. Just try not to bathe and carefully check the kit upon receipt. Review ate: Changed rating. One turned out to be indecently leaky. One minute in the water was enough for the hull to take on water to the very end. Probably splash-proof, but it doesn’t pull on IP67, I think. Dismantled, depressurization was in the keyboard. Crooked crooked.

Pros
  • + True water resistance, but. see cons + Fairly good quality and range + Sufficiently large battery capacity + Wide frequency range: you can get away from the clogged standard bands. But it can be used with walkie-talkies of other sets. + Separately, about the clip - a handy thing: it is held firmly on the belt, the walkie-talkie can be removed with a slight tilt from the belt, and then easily returned to its place. + Headset: sealed, sits comfortably on the ear (but it can be customized here)
Cons
  • - Water-resistant with one But: one walkie-talkie was flooded, after which the PTT was not pressed out of it. Dried up. The device is intact and works fine. - Most likely there will be no communication for 10 declared kilometers. The tested maximum was about 3.5 km in forest conditions + a few steel buildings, the connection was, but was already dying. - Assembly is quite flimsy. At one walkie-talkie, the thread on the antenna blossomed (it became like a spring), the tangents walk in their nests. - Tight on-volume knob. When taking into account the protective arc, it is not very convenient to use it. But it doesn't bother me too much. + - The device is quite weighty and bulky (for a manual radio station). It's just worth keeping in mind that it most likely will not fit into a trouser pocket.
