I know the movie version of Jurassic Park Jeeps never had LED taillights, but my version is more of a mix of old and new technology. For example, the taillights on my Jeep YJ are over 20 years old and the plastic is brittle. The yellow "rear" fog lights that were in the movie version (when driving away from the T-Rex) were apparently attached to the Jeep's body. However, JP Motor Pool drilled and joined the bolts in the taillight assembly. With incandescent bulbs inside, this resulted in very little space in the fog lamp housing to put the top on, as well as a tight fit to tighten the bolt above the reversing lamp. This LED assembly remains the same. Depth, like the original, but the LED assembly itself only occupies part of the body. That way I can move the yellow fog lights further away from the jeep's body and waterproof them where I drilled the bolt hole. I cut the connector from the back of the original Jeep taillights (the housing was broken anyway) and connected the stock green and black wire to the turn signal (red wire), solid white wire to the taillights (black wire). and black with white wire to reversing light (yellow wire). I also connected the 4 pin trailer harness and OEM connector wiring to it and connected the rewired tail light connector to the Jeep harness. Since the OEM taillight used screws to screw into the tank, and this light also has screws that go through the tank, I had to rebore the OEM threads in the tank to size the same diameter as the screws for these. LED taillights. Tightening the side wheel arch bolts was a little fiddly, but it works. A fun coincidence is that because those lights aren't left and right, the "Don't leave dinosaurs in car overnight" sign also lights up at night.
