I like this leash. Ordered based on the reviews and was not disappointed. We paddle flat water on an inflatable SUP. The problem is that we paddle a lot of boats and jet skis so there are times when we crash. This weekend was one of them. After a bad fall, my friend said the leash was our best investment. This kept him connected to the paddle and his life jacket, which were on the board. It's very convenient, it never bothers and you don't really know it's on. The only comment I have is that as a beginner rower I wish it had instructions. I know it sounds silly but after reading online I realized I didn't need the small loop attached to it as my SUP had a large loop to thread the velcro straight through. We are about to buy another board and will definitely order another one of these leashes. I just want them to make a real paddle line.
