Plugged it into the PCIE slot above the GPU and it was recognized as soon as I plugged anything into the USB ports that are too led him. However, I downloaded the drivers afterwards anyway. I seem to have luckier than others, although other reviews have said it won't detect it until drivers are installed, or go crazy and install it while the PC is running π¨ (don't do this) instead of a drivers CD don't get an extra stand for the back of the case (for small itx cases) and people saying that there were multiple drivers for different products on the drive. Mine came with everything and there were only 2 different product drivers on the disk. Can't remember which one it was, but obviously not the same one. The one on the right said it was a USB stick. But there were 2 driver versions for it, so I just downloaded the newer one. So far no problems. Seems good as far as I can tell considering my DS4 controller is plugged in 24/7 and still working (except for the dumb DS4 remote hitting the cable and disconnecting but that's a controller error due to the use of micro USB π). So as far as I can tell 3 months later and plugged and unplugged and it's still working.
