Great add-on card, best in USB port cards

This was an easy install and works great on my son's old system. Its motherboard is USB compatible, but it doesn't have a USB 3 connector, only USB 2, so that was exactly what I was looking for. It's been on his system for a little over a month and it's been working great with no issues. He's an artist and uses a lot of USB digital painting supplies, so I wanted to add a USB front panel. The only ones I could find were USB 3, so I had to get that card to use the device. The only complaint I…

Plug and play for I/O port cards

Plugged it into the PCIE slot above the GPU and it was recognized as soon as I plugged anything into the USB ports that are too led him. However, I downloaded the drivers afterwards anyway. I seem to have luckier than others, although other reviews have said it won't detect it until drivers are installed, or go crazy and install it while the PC is running 😨 (don't do this) instead of a drivers CD don't get an extra stand for the back of the case (for small itx cases) and people saying that…

Works best in computers and accessories

Like - I was able to connect to USB 3 Computer - Windows 10 64 bit, Intel I-3 3570K, 8GB RAM. I don't like it - there are no instructions, not even the manufacturer's name on the box. When I first turned on the computer, it froze so I had to restart. The installation took some time. First I installed it in the PCI-Ex1 slot, I checked in the managed device and nothing, I uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times but it didn't show up in the device manager, so I ended up having it in the PIC-E 16 x1…

Effective but took some time to get started

I have an overclocked 1st gen i7 processor but the motherboard I'm using is so old it doesn't have USB 3.0 ports. I recently upgraded to a new case and her absence has become an issue. I bought this PCIE card to add the appropriate connectors to my motherboard. I needed two headers. Many of the options available offer USB ports and a port. I specifically needed two because that supports the body. This card was my choice. It has two USB 3.0 ports and that's it, but it's what I needed…

Not fully compatible with USB3

I'm an IT professional with 25 years of experience and have developed over 300 solutions. I have an older motherboard with a newer case and a modern front panel connector that my board doesn't have a connector for. This card works "somehow". Depending on what device I plug in, it either works well or works intermittently with the device being unplugged and plugged back in all the time. My Corsair 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Voyager works great. I have an external USB 3.0 card reader that I use for micro

It works and gives you 2 extra USB 3 20-1 ports for your case cables

I inserted this card into an empty PCIe x1 slot on my ASUS furniture. Then I started the driver minidisk. It includes all the different card drivers on one CD, but won't let you install the wrong drivers. I connected 2 front Lian-Li 20-1 USB 3 cases to it and everything works as intended with Win 10 Pro. I haven't tested the up and down download speeds but they seem fine. Just as fast or even faster than using a USB 2 to USB 3 adapter on USB 2 mobo ports with fewer cables. I like you. Get one…

Exactly what was needed.

I just entered a competition to build a new desktop PC. One of the things I wanted on this device was a memory card reader so that my camera's memory cards could be used to transfer photos. I was trying to reuse an older internal reader from a previous build, but it turned out that Win 10 couldn't find drivers for it, and I've had it long enough that I couldn't find the driver CD that came with it. So I ordered a new internal card reader that connects via USB 3.0. The only problem was that I…
