Probably good value for money, but there are a few quirks. First, the included drill bit is larger than the recommended size of 31/64" for a 12mm bobbin spool. I opted for the 31/64" drill bit I had. and the tap was easy to cut so I'm glad I didn't just use what was included. Secondly, installing the coiled coil itself with the included installation tool is a little tricky compared to the big brand 'real' option. But with a little patience, it's not that bad. The end result is as good as any other spiral coil I've installed and the price is great for a kit I may never need again. If it was a regular thread size I would pay for the best branded option but for the odd size I would buy this one. The included tool for breaking the stem off the insert was nice and worked like a charm.
