I have bought hundreds of these cameras over the years since owning a bike shop. I rarely had any problems with these whistles, the quality is very good for the money spent. Now that I'm out of business I only bought them for my own use so I guess that shows I trust them. There's always a chance you'll damage the camera during installation (I've probably done a thousand camera swaps and I can still screw one up :-)) Take your time with the installation, watch a youtube video, get it get tire levers and get off and ride.
