The quality of this sleep collar is top notch and I was initially very happy with my purchase but on my first or second walk with my dog it really slipped off his head and came off . The reason for this is that the plastic parts at the ends of the rope are too wide and cause the metal loop to hang and not tighten properly. My dad noticed the same thing while walking my dog and even tried to attach the collar by wrapping tape around the plastic to create a smoother surface for the metal ring to slide on, but I still have this same problem with it. If you are careful and put the loop on the plastic piece when you put the collar around the dog it will work as it should, but it's an extra step I'd rather not do. If anyone other than me walked him with this collar on, I would be nervous that it wouldn't work properly. Again, the quality is excellent, but I'm hoping that the manufacturer either slims down the plastic parts or omits them altogether.
