Review on Omron HJ-720ITC Pocket Pedometer: Enhanced Fitness Tracking with Health Management Software by Cody Mckechnie

Revainrating 4 out of 5

bought it for my wife

Let me start by saying "my wife is not tech savvy. I was hoping that she could use this device to record her walks on the computer. My mistake. This unit works as advertised It's easy to program The computer software is a bit fiddly to find and install but not too big My wife's main disadvantage is her shape and size The clip that comes with it doesn't fit her clothes well slips out of the clip and can be put in a pocket, but many things she carries when walking don't have pockets, it has a strap (sort of) that can be hung on a plastic clip, which is awkward to use. It really counts steps and converts well. We've had it for a while and I thought the upgrade was ok. My wife doesn't like it very much. I think it's designed and engineered to be attached to clothing. She put it in a drawer and doesn't use it anymore. I've downgraded the rating to 2 stars as it may be the best product ever made, but if the intended user doesn't like it then it's useless. It's quite bulky in size and quite thick in its protection. I think I'll try one of the new straps on the market and give it a try.
