Review on XO Vision HTC35 HD Universal Weatherproof Rear View Backup Camera with Night Vision, Wide 170° Viewing Angle by Anthony Woolley

Not in the description: car and car electronics

I bought it and sent it back. The description lists a 170 degree viewing angle, but the one I received came with a spec that only listed a 120 degree viewing angle. I researched this and other reviews said it has a super wide viewing angle so maybe I wasn't lucky. HTC35 was written on the packaging. I plugged it in and it was a very good picture, but definitely not wide angle. It was almost the same as the more expensive Shark brand, which I wanted to replace with a wide-angle rear camera. The rest of the specs from the attached sheet included three different possible cameras. Sony, Sharp or CMOS. Here are the specifications depending on the model: Pixel 510x582 or 510x 492, 380 or 420 TV lines, horizontal angle 92/120 degrees, minimum brightness 0.8 or 1.5 or 3 lux (0 lux with LED for all 3).

Pros
  • Robust surface
Cons
  • Some errors
