There is no HDMI cable here, you need to bring your own. The guidance is very limited. Honestly, the best instructions you will find are on this list. Look at the picture showing how to connect it. This image should be in the owner's manual, but it isn't. First impressions are that it's pretty well made based on the case and other factors I see. It's made of metal, which is always nice to look at. The connectors on the outside match well with the openings in the case. Everything appears to be well put together with no gaps or issues with the product. For me there are no foreign smells in the box. All connections are firmly seated in the connectors, so nothing can fall out or become loose. This is a really easy to use and intuitive device. All you have to do is connect what you want to record to the HDMI jack and then connect the USB port to your computer. The HDMI output is used to connect a monitor or television. This should give you a lag-free or lag-free experience and is something you'll want to use when filming a game. All I had to do was install a software like OBS and add that capture card as a source and that was it, now I was able to record. Damn simple, it couldn't be simpler. This gives you the option of a microphone and a headset that you can use if you wish. Most people will just want to leave their headphones and microphone plugged into the computer since HDMI transmits audio and video. However, this is a great option.
