Tablet mount that fits in cup holder works well. The phone mount is poorly designed and hardly ever used. The 12V cigarette lighter/socket plug is loose on the vertical or horizontal outlet. This is a big problem as the outlet is the attachment point of the device. The connector is very loose and if you are using a horizontal jack the weight of the phone will cause the phone to sag in almost any position you choose to place the phone. I can mount it into a vertical 12V outlet, but the loose fit causes the USB power to drop if the plug isn't inserted very cleanly into the 12V outlet. It's just fundamentally bad design. It's a shame because the mounts hold my phone and tablet very securely. Don't worry about what I have to go through to get it back, so it's a $15 tutorial.
