Tablet mount that fits in cup holder works well. The phone mount is poorly designed and hardly ever used. The 12V cigarette lighter/socket plug is loose on the vertical or horizontal outlet. This was a gift but I played with it a bit to see if I would give it to someone else. I will. Fine if you don't want the phone to be high, but also don't want to stick to the air conditioner vent (they never work). It does need to be a solid cup holder though, as frame-style cup holders don't have "walls" for this device to rest on. I bought it back in mid-May. To be honest it changed the way I had fun in the truck all day. Started well, but overtime. literally over time you can see it starting to get worse. Works great actually. We use it in one of the many 2019 Polaris Ranger drink holders to hold an iPad for our maps and GPS. Even when running on dirt roads, climbing hills and driving around them, it stays very safe. We've used four or five other devices that hold phones and tablets and none of them hold up compared to this device. It works great as long as you have a drink holder to slip it in. It fits my Google up to a full-size iPad with a little tweaking.
