Great watch though. NO RADIO RECEPTION IN MASSACHUSETTS!

I love this watch and would love to keep it. I'm a software engineer and I have a good understanding of what mechanisms should do and how they should work. I think I understand this watch, the importance of setting the time zone and geographic location (New York in my case), the importance of making sure it is set to the correct radio frequency (WW) and the importance it is to reset them to zero. . I did everything And I made sure it really is set up the way it should be. I then initiated manual radio reception. Unfortunately the radio was not received. I live in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It's as far east as you can get from radio station Colorado. It's also a little low, at 40 feet above sea level. As a result, the signal can not only be too far away, but also be blocked by higher interfering objects (buildings, hills, mountains). There is no signal reception in my house and it is not available in various locations outside. Even on the unobstructed banks of the Charles River. So this Sunday I took the watch and drove it all the way to Worcester, Massachusetts. Not only is it about 40 miles inland closer to the signal transmitter, but it is also 480 feet tall, 12 times the height of Cambridge. Arriving at an empty mall lot off Route 9 with a clear, unobstructed view west, I tried again a few times. No radio reception. If it cannot receive the radio signal, this watch is useless. If only they had provided a switch to turn off the radio's auto-tuning and turn it into a traditional solar-powered clock with manual tuning, I would have kept it. That is beautiful. Or alternatively, since we are now in the 21st century if they outfitted it with the ability to receive WiFi signals or simply connect to a computer via a USB cable (which also provide an alternative way of charging the battery could), This watch would be nice to own. But they didn't. They rely on this elusive radio signal, and the watch cannot pick up a signal in Massachusetts. So he reluctantly returns. I would like to thank Revain for making the return process so easy.----- PS. I'm wondering what I would do if the watch actually picked up the signal in Worcester? Once the signal is received and the watch automatically sets the correct date and time, the watch works and I can basically leave it like that. But would I then be making regular (monthly? weekly? daily?) forced pilgrimages to Worcester to keep it going? Fortunately, these headaches never occurred. Reluctantly this wonderful watch is back at Revain again.
