My Hidden Personal Computer

This mini pc has become my personal computer in the corner work station, set up mainly for my remote work. This computer has two mounting options: under a desk or on a wall using the two keyholes on the bottom that are near the top near the power, video, and network cable connectors. You can also mount the mini mount behind a computer monitor. a bracket that screws into the top two VESA mounting holes and then attaches to the same keyholes. Upon arrival, the computer comes with a professionally designed black box with a silver foil block design and font. The manual is magazine quality with the Intel logo printed on it, so this mini PC can be ordered from Amazon and given away for the upcoming holidays. The processor and graphics chip consist of Intel Core i5-5257U and Intel Iris Graphics 6100. They offer enough computing power with 8 GB DDR3 onboard memory to run Windows 10 Professional without any performance problems. I mainly use o365, Adobe Lightroom and Cyblerlink Powerdirector on this mini pc with no problems. I can connect three monitors if needed, but I only use the HDMI output and one active Type-C port. This mini pc has a mini display port with cable if I choose to connect to a DP port monitor. The USB Type-C port is a standard 5.0Gbps data connection that I can use with a Type-C hub to open up more connectivity and devices, but with 3 SS ports on the front and 2 network sockets it is not required for my use. I'm using dual-band Wi-Fi to connect and I'm not experiencing any network dropouts. This little box packs a whole lot of processing power without taking up space for a desktop or laptop with a docking station.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
