I don't understand other people's problems with this call. Installation was easy. Be sure to order the correct handlebar diameter; mine was a 22.2 for my urban messenger bike from the Brooklyn Bicycle Company. I think the bell is loud enough. Everyone on the bike path could hear me, and the tone was beautifully musical, resonant compared to the chime/ding-ding of most bells. She is very unobtrusive at the grill and beautiful for someone who knows she is there. 100% satisfied. Update: For people saying the bell doesn't ring loud enough, they may have the wrong diameter. If it's too small, the handlebar clamp will contact the metal part of the bell and muffle the sound. The metal bell must be hung up to ring after tightening the handlebar clamp. Curious people want to know. 😉
