I totally understand the idea behind why these socks are supposed to work, but for me they were a fail. The main reasons they were a fail was due to how they feel when you have them on. If you put any type of moisturizer or salve on your heals that doesn't immediately soak in and then you put these socks on, the socks kind of slide around on your feet when you're walking. They fact that they only go halfway down your feet is also very awkward too because you can't wear shoes with them. If you're going to wear sneakers, you risk having your shoes start to smell due to sweating in them because half of your foot is exposed. These are also very awkward (and ugly) to try to wear with sandles too. I committed to trying to wear these every night to bed to see if they really made a difference, and I didn't see any change after a couple of weeks.
